but the health care protests have nothing whatsoever to do with race

Glenn Beck is frothing at the mouth, resurrecting the spectre of Jeremiah Wright.  The birther movement has ramped up its efforts to prove that Obama wasn’t just born in a pre-state Hawaiian protectorate, but rather in Kenya.  Still, the health care protests aren’t about race.  Merely about health care.

Pay no attention at all to race and class based buzzwords like “personal responsibility” or “this is not the America I’m used to.”  Ignore the swastikas being drawn on a congressman’s officeplate.  Bigotry and prejudice has nothing whatsoever to do with the teabagging astroturf protests.

What’s that?  You swear that protestor just defaced a picture of Rosa Parks?  While people cheered?  No!  That was . . . um . . . an allegorical picture of socialism!  Which looks a lot like Rosa Parks!  Who wants to euthanize grandma!  Yeah, that’s it.  Not an act of racism at all.
