Let’s all welcome Sean Parnell, our nation’s newest governor.

On 3 July 2009, Sarah Palin announced that she will be resigning as Alaska’s governor, effective July 26th.  Needless to say speculation is rampant that this portends a focus on a 2012 presidential run.
